The document contains the terms of the contract between you, the customer, and us at F5 Technology in Goregaon, Malad East, Mumbai. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, then we are unfortunately not ready to provide our services to you.
Property
Any client’s property that is not collected within:
- 30 days of notification to collect (and services have not been paid for).
- 3 months after the date of notification to collect (and the services have been paid for)
Will become the property of F5 Technology. At this time, we reserve the right to distribute or use the computer and its parts or peripherals in any way we want.
Limited Liability
The customer must accept that there are opportunities connected with the repair or any IT service. Opportunities could result in the loss of your property. It could also mean the loss or corruption of data. Our customers must accept that F5 Technology is not responsible for such damage or loss.
In the case of accidental damage to parts, peripherals, the screen, or any other material regarding a client’s computer or laptop, we will, whenever possible, repair the damaged part or material. However, it may be replaced by a second-hand part. This depends on the price of the replacement part and/or material and the value of your property.
F5 Technology completely encourages that, if possible, a customer should do a complete backup of their data and system before each repair or IT service being provided by us.
Confidentiality and privacy
The confidentiality and privacy of your knowledge are outlined in our privacy policy.
Payment
Payment is due in full upon the fulfilment of the allowed services. Payment is required before the release of the client’s assets.
Warranty
Each computer part purchased and installed on a client’s behalf is included in the manufacturer’s or seller’s warranty. They are not included in a warranty with F5 Technology.
In most cases, if a part is missing under warranty and it is a replacement job that we have previously undertaken, F5 Technology will provide labour to reinstall the component at no extra cost.
We provide a 3-month warranty on our work for common repairs and IT services. We provide a 6-month warranty on our work for any new computer builds that we do for customers.
Any modifications or changes made by the customer during the warranty period that result in mistakes or errors in the services provided by F5 Technology will void the warranty.
Malware Removal
It is very hard to provide a warranty for this kind of service, as while a device may leave our office clean of complete malware, the client’s computer may later become infected with the same malware or a different type of malware.
Should this occur, we reserve the power to determine whether the malware virus occurred after a successful malware removal service or whether our malware removal services were not 100% successful. If we determine the failure was on our part, we will undertake a second malware removal service at no extra charge.
Transportation
If required, the customer authorizes the F5 Technology team and contractors to collect and transport your computer to a repair address.
Services and pricing
F5 Technology will constantly try to ensure that services and pricing are up-to-date on our website. Pricing and services advertised outside on the internet may be out-of-date. The prices and services stated on our website shall override any other advertised costs.
Our Website, Copyright, and Usage of Material
Any content on this website is the property of and copyrighted by F5 Technology. Any copying, change, republication, or distribution of the content of this website is strictly prohibited.
Any data provided on this website should not be taken as factual or 100% accurate. F5 Technology makes an effort to provide valuable and reliable information to our customers. However, we will not be held responsible should the data be wrong or out-of-date.
F5 Technology also tries not to violate the copyright of any other business or company.
Data Backup
F5 Technology will only back up your data if the service specifically needs it or the customer demands it. In undertaking a backup, we will endeavour to copy all data possible. We will not be responsible for the failure to copy data that is located in an obscure place. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify us should files and folders be placed in an unusual location on the hard drive.
F5 Technology only backups user files and folders. The backup does not include programs behind the regular operating system. Any additional programs will need to be re-installed by the customer. We can install your other applications, but it will be at an extra cost.
Screen Replacements
F5 Technology accepts no responsibility for screen damage caused by a customer after replacement, and this is not included under any warranty. Any screen repair faults need to be reported within a maximum of seven days of service.
